FAQs
-
Traditional settings are group-driven. Montessori is child-driven — with lessons, materials, and routines intentionally tailored to each child’s unique needs.
-
Montessori classrooms are intentionally mixed-age and organized in three-year cycles because this mirrors how children learn in the natural world. Younger children learn by observing older peers, while older children deepen their understanding by mentoring, modeling, and leading. Over the three-year cycle, children move from observing to mastering skills, building confidence, independence, and a strong sense of community without comparison or pressure.
-
Montessori is built around long, uninterrupted work cycles where children develop focus, independence, and mastery. Inconsistent attendance breaks that rhythm just as it begins to take hold. We offer both half-day and full-day options, but maintain a consistent 5-day schedule to preserve the integrity of the Montessori experience.
