Who is Solstice Montessori
Solstice Montessori was founded with a simple belief: children thrive when they are known, respected, and given the freedom to grow at their own pace — and families thrive when schools feel like true communities.
As a parent-founded, locally rooted Montessori preschool, Solstice was created to offer a calm, beautiful, and intentional learning environment where children develop independence, confidence, and a deep love of learning. Our classrooms are thoughtfully prepared, our teachers are trained and supported, and our community is small by design.
It takes a village
At Solstice Montessori, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. It unfolds through the community around us, where curiosity is nurtured through real experiences and meaningful connection.
Our children visit the Franklin Public Library to discover stories and a love of reading, spend time at the Senior Center building gentle, intergenerational relationships rooted in kindness and respect, and in the fall, walk to the local farmers market each week to explore food, seasons, and care for the world around them. Through partnerships with local colleges, we also welcome future educators into our classrooms, enriching our environment and the intention behind each day.
